Hair Extensions provide many alluring features from additional length and thickness to more voluminous body or simply creating that beautiful color you’ve always wanted without compromising the integrity of your natural hair.
THE METHODS
Fusion
Hot fusion is used on individual keratin bonds. Fusion extensions are great for clients seeking length and volume and want little maintenance while the extensions are in. The clients can treat the extensions as if it were their own hair. Fusion extensions might not be suitable for the client that has compromised hair due to the stress it can cause. It can take about two to three hours to have a full head of extensions put in and last about four months.
Tape-In
Tape-ins can be used for some length, but are ideal for more volume and thickness. It takes only a short amount of time to install. you will need to come in every six to eight weeks to have them removed and reinstalled.
Removal and Re-install $125.00 per hour
Micro Bead
Micro beads are gentle on the hair and our preferred method for fine hair clients. These are applied using a small silicone bead placed onto the base of the hair, then an individual strand of extension is attached. You need to be careful not to use conditioner near the bead to help reduce slipping of the extension. You will have to come in every couple of months to have the extensions removed and re-installed.
Removal and Re-install $125.00 per hour
Maintenance schedule
Maintenance appointments vary based on Method of extensions and hair type. Usually 6 to 8 weeks for Tape-In and Bead method.
NOTE: Fusion extensions are single use and can not be re-installed.
